Hurricane season is here. Where is Florida’s disaster preparedness sales tax holiday?
Florida’s 2025 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday, which usually allows residents to buy emergency supplies tax-free, has been delayed due to the state legislature not finalizing the budget. The tax holiday was originally scheduled for May 15–31. It would have included items like flashlights, batteries, coolers, generators, and smoke detectors. for more information click here.
