Florida’s housing market is showing renewed momentum after several years of declining sales, with transactions increasing across multiple property types and price ranges.
Florida has now recorded 11 consecutive months of year-over-year increases in closed home sales through July 2026, while new pending sales have risen for 12 straight months. Inventory of single-family homes has tightened and is now closer to what economists consider a balanced market. Higher-priced properties are performing especially well: year-to-date sales between $500,000 and $1 million increased 7%, while sales of homes priced at $1 million or more jumped 22.4%. Florida Realtors’ chief economist says this is not another housing boom, but it represents a meaningful recovery after three consecutive years of declining sales. For more information click here.
