Florida House Passes Property Tax Reduction Plan

Florida House lawmakers have passed a sweeping property tax plan… but the Senate hasn’t yet shared its own plan, leaving questions about next steps.

The plan could put a constitutional amendment before voters in November 2026 to eliminate most homestead property taxes. The Senate has not yet introduced its own plan, and lawmakers are currently negotiating the final details. For more information click here.
