Florida Home Prices Reach New Record as Sales Continue Rising

Florida’s housing market continued gaining strength in June, with home sales increasing for the tenth consecutive month and the median sale price reaching a new record.

Florida’s median home sale price climbed to $432,000, while the number of completed transactions increased compared with both the previous month and the same period last year. The results indicate that buyers remain active despite affordability concerns, insurance expenses and borrowing costs.

The condominium and townhouse market also experienced growth at opposite ends of the price range. Sales of properties priced below $200,000 increased 18.4% compared with the previous year, reaching 6,205 transactions. Meanwhile, sales of properties valued at $1 million or more rose 29.5%, totaling 2,195 transactions. The figures show strong activity among buyers looking for affordable options and those purchasing luxury properties. For more information click here.
