Gary Farmer, Jr., is an international business, litigation, and real estate attorney who has been practicing law since 2002. Prior to founding the International Counsel PLLC, Mr. Farmer was of counsel for a national law firm, representing corporations in litigation and real estate matters. Before moving to Florida, he lived in Washington, D.C. where he worked as a litigation attorney at Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

Mr. Farmer also served at the U.S. Department of State as a law clerk to the Assistant Legal Adviser for Private International Law.  

He attended law school at American University in Washington, D.C. and also attended the Université de Paris X-Nanterre School of Law in Paris, France. He received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He also attended the Université de Paris – Sorbonne while in undergraduate school, studying French language and literature.
