In a major security incident, AT&T has revealed that call and text message records of nearly all of its mobile customers, as well as those of customers of other providers using its network, were exposed in a massive data breach between May and October 2022. While the content of the communications and personal information such as Social Security numbers were not compromised, the leak includes details about who called whom and the duration of the calls.
