FinCEN Now Requiring Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting
FinCEN now requires certain entities to report Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) under the Corporate Transparency Act. Businesses formed before January 1, 2024, must file by January 1, 2025, while those formed after must file within 90 days. Reporting includes entity and owner details.
